Born in Hartlepool in the North East of England, but been lucky enough to travel to many places in the world and seen some wonderful things.

I first picked up a camera seriously in 2005 for my 40th Birthday trip to South Africa. I returned two more times, before moving to South Africa on Assignment back in 2010. I returned to the Uk in 2016 after an amazing 6 years.

I'm a self-taught photographer and regularly seek out new opportunities to capture or new styles to perfect.

I love wildlife, but am not limited to only this genre. Cityscapes, Landscapes, people, sports and underwater photography all intrigue me, as does techniques such as HDR, Panoramas, Black and White.

Whilst I enjoy the digital side of photography, I'm no expert at Photoshop, and nor do I really want to be. Touch ups in Lightroom with some cropping and straightening is about the extent of my post production work. I'm sure I could do more in the digital darkroom, but this is not why I take photographs.

Still a lot of learning to do, but if you like what you see, please let me know. But if you have a tip or some constructive feedback, then please do contact me via the details provided
